Health of unborn.

Pregnant women chock full o' chemicals

We're basting babies in a chemical wash -- marinating them in a womb full of toxins and waste.

A new study finds pregnant women are filled with the worst alphabet soup imaginable: PCBs, PFCs, PBDEs and BPA.

And that's not all -- in fact, that's just the beginning.

Researchers examined blood and urine samples from 268 pregnant women, and found 43 risky chemicals in nearly all of them -- including phthalates, pesticides, perchlorate, sunscreen chemicals, and more.

So naturally, the researchers from the University of California-San Francisco who conducted the study concluded that pregnant women should eat less fat.

Say WHAT???

Listen, I don't know what chemicals got into the water at the University of California-San Francisco, but the last thing a pregnant woman or her baby needs is less fat.

Fats are essential to the development of the fetus and play a crucial role in the baby's growth.

There's a reason breast milk doesn't come in skim!

If you really want what's best for baby, don't avoid fats -- avoid plastics, cans, processed foods, soy, sunscreens, fancy soaps, and shampoos instead.

Taking chemicals from babies,

More on preparedness;

Hello again, My day went well, a bit cold but nothing compared to so Idaho. 11/2 ft of snow Up to 5 ft in some places.
Lets hope we don't have to go out in the snow to survive a holocaust of some kind. What to do in that case?

The very first thing, make sure everyone is safe and not injured.

Well here we have it, a problem.Lets say all you have is a coat (pray a long one), lets get real here, surly you can find something to make a crude shelter out of. First see how much snow there is. Then if enough to make snow balls start making an igloo type of shelter. Gather some wood  and leaves, pine, oak etc. cover floor with them.

See what else is lying around from the earthquake, tornado, or what. Boards ( watch out for nails, turn them into the ground or each other) look for anything to lean them on Cover with cardboard, tarp, anything to make a windbreak. I have in my kit a space blanket. very thin and easy to carry in kit. very warm to lay under over or wrap up in.

The main thing you have to learn in surviving is, shelter, food, and water. If you have those things you'll make it. And above all keep things clean. The people in Haiti have Colora because of poor sanitation.

Be prepared

What is going to happen today? well with ongoing earthquakes and disasters, will we survive?
Do we all have an emergency kit on hand?
Where is it kept? Can it be gotten in a hurry, or will it be buried in a pile of rubble?
Plenty of water stored up. I keep all of my milk cartons and clean them with a little bleach.
Make sure and change the water periodically . If you can't remember to do that then keep a
bottle of food grade peroxide on hand. 7 drops per gallon will purify for drinking. ( peroxide is drinkable at that level).
Dried food that can be eaten without cooking is always good. I have a vacuum packer that I keep thing packed with. Things will keep for up to 2 yrs.

More on this later..
